See that you do

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:17, 2 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
how're you doing?

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:22, Reply)
I am having a guilt-free loafing night
I have been sooooo tired, Amberl!
I have had fun too but even that's been tiring. I'm so happy to be home with wine and takeaway that I DID NOT HAVE TO COOK!
How you doing?
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:30, Reply)
That sounds like an ace night
the babylooking after sounded incredibly tiring.

I'm still pretty tired from last night, but good thanks. Apart from the being blonde moments!
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:35, Reply)
Did you get roped into Brighton or were you good?
I didn't even do any middle-of-the-night baby shifts, but as well as a full time job and all my other sheeit it got me well tired.
He is a joy though.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:37, Reply)
nope
but couldn't find my bus back (doesn't go from the coach station) so me and my brother wandered around for about an hour. Feet are killing me now. I've agreed to try and make it down for his 21st though I have no idea why he'd want me there!

Is it making you broody, or proving why you never want kids? The mum must be really happy to have some help though
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:48, Reply)
I've always loved kids
I used to think that meant I'd want to have one. But I'm not a cavewoman and I have been able to ignore the biological urges thus far.
There are too many fears and worries and changes to lifestyle that I don't think I'll ever bother confronting. There's time for me or dj to change our minds but it looks unlikely. Looking after babies is simple. Rearing someone from child to adult is another task entirely.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:52, Reply)
I've never had those urges.
I think I'm broken.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:56, Reply)
I've never had them either
but then I'm a realist
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:58, Reply)
You're only young so they might kick in yet.
I think if I'd have been with someone long time who wanted kids then I might have been persuaded.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:59, Reply)
I doubt it
I have a large family so I know what babies/children are like. I also know full right and well that I could never offer the same care and sacrifices that my mum did for me. Plus the whole revolted by pregnancy thing
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:01, Reply)
Realist in what sense?

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:00, Reply)
I'm not maternal
loads of female friends are already saying they can't wait to have children, or complaining of baby urges. Plus I have very specific career ideals and ambitions that don't mix with children, and I'm deadset on them
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:03, Reply)
Not being maternal isn't the realist bit. Your opinions and decisions are.
In a way I'm more of a realist because I have those hormonal urges but allow my life choices to give me the strength to ignore them.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:04, Reply)
That is realistic
Also I'm quite selfish. I'd never want to have a child and then deny it what it should have because I cared more for something else
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:06, Reply)
Good for you : )

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:05, Reply)
They're rubbish those urges.
They make you get physical pangs when you hold a baby and they make you sniff babies' heads.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:58, Reply)
I love sniffing babies.

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:59, Reply)
How do they get that smell?
It's not just Johnson's
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:05, Reply)
oh yes, these are no good
I'm thinking I'll likely have a baby before I get married
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:05, Reply)
I thought a few years ago about giving up on me and having a baby
Not telling the father and raising it with my family.
It was a ridiculous idea.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:06, Reply)
that is a ridiculous idea
glad you decided against it
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:08, Reply)
Me too!
Poor little bastard would have been insane
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:11, Reply)
I just couldn't handle the responsibility
and I'm way too selfish.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:12, Reply)
were you just going to pick up a stranger and have a go?

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:12, Reply)
No
I hadn't planned that bit.
Even jizz by moped for £2000 was considered.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:15, Reply)
^this is truth
besides now relatives of yours are spawning you can satisfy baby urges by buying them stuff and fussing over them
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 19:59, Reply)
I'm hoping this will be enough for my mrs
she has said that seeing her sister have her kids has made her want them less. I take that as a very positive sign.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:01, Reply)
Hiya!

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:03, Reply)
hey you
alright?
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:04, Reply)
You are very lucky to find someone who has the same idea as you regarding kids.

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:06, Reply)
I am indeed
this is probably the only place where I can be assured that other people understand just how much I don't want kids.
(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:07, Reply)
*fist bumps*

(, Wed 3 Nov 2010, 20:14, Reply)
Aye
