Have you got the dogs with you in work again?

(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:46, 2 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I have.
We've had a good tramp round the park. The dogs are filthy and sleeping now.

Good tramping!
Did they play fetch or chase any other dogs?
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:50, Reply)
They chase the squirrels : )

(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:52, Reply)
That's some top work by the dogs.
Fucking squirrels and their nut hording ways.
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:54, Reply)
They never catch them : (

(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:55, Reply)
It's probably for the best
They'll only rip the squirrel to bits if they do catch him.
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:56, Reply)
I know.
But the dogs looked so pissed off.
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:57, Reply)
Why not get them a cuddly squirrel?

(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 13:01, Reply)
Good idea!
*looks on internet*
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 13:06, Reply)
And if you do get them one
You can wave it in their happy little faces and get them all excited.

And then - and this is the best bit - put in on a shelf so the dogs can see it, but not get to it!
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 13:07, Reply)
Nah!
They gonna rip it up.

My favorite paragraph in any book, was written by Dean Koontz, I can't remember the specific book 'cus he writes about dogs in most of them, but it went something like this....
Oh boy, is that a lead? Master ! Master ! you've got a lead, last time you had a lead we went to the park, I love the park, this time you have a lead too and does that mean we're going to the park. OH BOY. Do you think they'll be squirals? I think there might be, I sure do hope there is, I love squirals, I think they like me too, I hope they like me, do you think they like me? I reckon they like me. They deffo like me. There are trees in the park, loads of trees, look at all the trees ! Is that..... no, it couldn't be.... wait a sec *sniff sniff*, why yes, I do belive THERE IS SQUIRAL PISS ! OH BOY ! SQUIRALS !

....

From now on
Every time I read your comments, when you write all excited and in one go, as you usually do, I'm going to imagine you like an excitable excited puppy.
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 13:12, Reply)
Sometimes I wish I was a dog, in a happy home, there is no happier creature on this planet =)

(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 13:14, Reply)
You only have to see how they wave their tails
to realise there isn't a better life than that.

Sounds like Fluke by James Herbert

I wish I could have dogs at work
It wouldn't be so boring.
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:58, Reply)
They do tend to get in the way when they're bored.

(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 12:58, Reply)
I can't see a problem there
I'd love to have two little doggies here, so I had an excuse to go for a walk to the park.
(, Tue 9 Nov 2010, 13:01, Reply)
Two of my colleagues bring their dogs into work on occasion. Workplace dogs = Ace.
