my friends just sent me a beautiful boxed set of that divine cheese in the black wax, like a giant bomb. this will go with the 8 cheeses the team bought me earlier.
i am going to have to have a cheese and wine party i think!

I love cheese! I haven't had any proper cheese since I started the diet! I'm going to go for them as soon as I finish (only one day, though, I don't want all my weight back)
Your friend is lovely! Is that the same of the balloon?

i am really lucky, i have some lovely thoughtful friends!
the neals yard cheeses are amazing, but this black waxy bomb thing is absolutely incredible, they have tracked it down for me because they serve it at one of my favourite restaurants in london, and they know i love it.

They are amazing! I have never done anything like that for a friend or a partner! I envy you now.
I'm sure you'll enjoy the cheese with wine and good friends, you lucky girl.

the cheese is going to be tempting me all afternoon now. especially the stilton. mmm. stilton.

I love the flavour in soups, etc, but I don't like the blue cheese

then i discovered the "smelly mushrooms" at saints and scholars in didsbury... ever been there? it is the best hangover food in the world! although they also do some distressingly healthy salads and stir-fries. anyway, this properly converted me to stilton.

I'm not a fan of mushrooms either tbh, find them bland and rubbish. Although I did enjoy the porcinis I had a while back...

firstly didsbury is a great night out. secondly, saints and scholars is legendary! don't forget i'm a vegetarian, so to me the cheesy chips and smelly mushrooms are as good as it gets. most people who go there rave about the lamb or the sausages. bleurgh.
