But I was going to give it a high five until this morning.
Yesterday, as you probably noticed, was very windy. Living on a 6th floor made it even worse, as I could hear not only the wind, but the plants, chairs, tables going around, hitting walls and that. Even my cupboard, that goes from wall to wall, made a lot of noise with the strong wind. Therefore, I didn't sleep much.
The train to work has a recorded voice that tells you which station you're approaching, which station you're on, not to forget your bags, be careful with the steps... Not today, though. Today it was total silence.
I fall asleep on the train and woke up when it was stopping on a station that looked familiar. My station. I reached the door just on time to see the light on the button to open the door switching off, which was good at the end, as I had forgotten my phone on my seat.
I called a taxi to pick me on the next station. I waited for 15min in the cold, and finally called the taxi again. He'd been waiting on the other side, and didn't think of calling me. Then I almost forgot my lunch on the taxi.
I have a job interview today... If the day doesn't improve I might not even bother.
Oh, yes, and I can feel I'm coming down with a very bad case of JeffAIDS...

I got home yesterday to find a letter from the building management company telling me they're going to take me to court for not paying my service charge... when I am paying it, by direct debit, every 6th of the month! Stupid people! I was so upset with them I wrote an email (the office was closed, so couldn't talk on the phone) saying that they were distressing me without real need and if that behaviour persisted it'd be me taking them to court! FFS! If they have a problem with my payments, can't they tell me nicely before threatening me?

It was all outside the building, the plants, chairs and tables were in the balconies.

Sneaking suspicion there's a mast down somewhere. Damn my reliance on modern technology!
