I think it is impossible to be passionate about the Smiths.
Even though, they should be right up your street you misery.

Okay. Question. Create two bands, one living, one dead out of any people who are, err, either living or dead.

Obviously, it would be useful if I knew who your band members were, but rather than me ask you to create a band of people I'd know, if you can post a YouTube link to their finest work as individuals, that'll be great.

One singer.
One bassist
2 guitarists (one one if that is easier)
Drummer.

Only got two fags left
Can't be arsed walking down the hill.

You're the insomniac.

Chuck Prophet on lead.

JJB on bass.

Sports shops play bass these days do they?
EDIT: Keep the question in mind for tomorrow.
(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 22:41, Reply)
I won't be here tomorrow
What with having a life and all that.

Jean Jaques Burnelle - Stranglers = JJB.

'Burnel', no?

Dead band:
vocals: Steve Marriott
bass: John Entwistle
lead guitar: Hendrix
rhythm: Fred 'Sonic' Smith
drums: Clyde Stubblefield

Living band:
vocals: Jim Jones
bass: Lemmy
lead: Angus Young
drums: fuck knows

These are not necessarily my all time favourites but the combination of the musicians might be good.
(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 22:49, Reply)
You should be able to find a drummer for the living band.
Think man!

The it isn't really a problem is it?
(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 23:02, Reply)
I don't do it every day
but sometimes I go fucking nuts on it. It's a problem alright.
(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 23:04, Reply)
Do you want to do anything about it?
Or do you enjoy it more than you are addicted?
(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 23:05, Reply)

(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 23:42, Reply)
anything
or nothing, whichever you feel more comfortable in.
(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 23:45, Reply)
Well, a living band that consisted of
Manuel Göttsching and Oren Ambarchi on guitars, Chris Squire on bass and Charles Hayward on drums would certainly be interesting.
(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 22:55, Reply)
Think I missed the point of the original question due to being ratted
Dead band - Vocalist Janis Joplin, drummer Jon Bonham, with Monty on the others.

Live band - Ooh - I think Imelda Mae vocals, Chuck Prophet lead, JJB bass (although he'd sulk) and the geezer who is currently playing with Focus on percussion.

And Oi Vavoy as a backing band.
(, Thu 18 Nov 2010, 23:06, Reply)
Hendrix and Keith Moon would have made a good old racket together
