This is worst than that time I went to a bar and a girl let me buy her drinks all night long and ended up going off with the friend I was with and when I suggested to _her_ friend that I was going to go to a brass, so the money is spent anyway, that it might as well be in her pocket than the brass's... that she got quite insulted, but saw reason and took half the money in exchange for half the job.

Yup term finishes on the 4th of December
but I've got vacation rent until the 16th so I can work on my thesis a bit. Then I fly back.

Not really.
Going to the works Christmas do on Saturday but that's just going for a curry. I don't really drink much because I have to sort out the bill at the end of the night.

My thesis is about the role of Livia and the succession under Augustus and Tiberius.

Though I am seriously tempted to do a late switch to a thesis about the difference in numbers/function of lay female saints as opposed to male religious saints
