My house is full of crap second hand furniture
but I recently bought a 42" full HD LCD tv and it looks sleek and modern and is a taste of what my home could look like if I spent some money and cared.

It is also a joy to watch, much better than the blurry CRT I was given.

Lucy and I shall be watching Twin Peaks tonight
I had a bit of a farcical "Good Life" moment yesterday, I was outside with Charlie sorting out my vegetable patch when the phone rang. I opened the kitchen door and she ran in and started wolfing down Lucy's cat food.

Oooo MARGOT!

It sounds rather more entertaining than Sue Perkins and Giles Coren's recent televisual effort.

That is unwatchable
pair of fucking spanners. I watched them render beef fat into candles and gave up. Fuckwit television.

Most television
is fuckwit television. This is why I do not have one.

I lived without one for a while
but as soon as I qualified and had no more exams to sit I found myself with lots of spare time.

I tell myself it's mostly for films & games.

I have a TV, but my aerial's borked
I wouldn't watch it much anyway, I only use it to watch films and play games on.

i tried to watch it on friday after my beastly personal trainer and the snow made me too idle to go out
but it wasn't scary, it was just a bit crap. then it started to get scary, so i quickly switched to "fawlty towers". i might give it another try tonight.

i didn't realise chickens ate meat. also, what kind of a cat lets a bird steal its food - lucy needs to up her game a bit, i think!!!

Lucy was curled up on my sofa, so I shut the door to the kitchen & answered the phone
When I finished, there was a very full looking chicken in my kitchen and an empty cat bowl.

My family and other animals.

this has really made my monday morning
i am laughing to myself over the image of charlie looking fat and smug, and having to pretend that it is my application to court for the grant of a new lease that is amusing me quite so much.

She did look fat and smug
i'm amazed she didn't finish it off by crapping on the floor.

Do they still make Furbies? They sound like much less hassle.

Your chicken was curled up on the sofa?
If it weren't for the fact that our rabbits have spent the last two weeks in their indoors cage with the run of the house; have their own Christmas tree and enjoy the odd digestive biscuit, I'd accuse you of over indulging your animals.

are those the things that you can't get wet or feed after midnight?
i think you should get a PEACOCK after charlie. that would rock.
