This is a question Pet Peeves

What makes you angry? Get it off your chest so we can laugh at your impotent rage.

Me!
I really piss myself off. Why do I sometimes have to be such a twat. Why can't I make the sensible choice instead of the stupid, it will all end in tears choice or the you know it's going to go pear-shaped choice. Why do I have to pretend I'm stronger and braver than I really am. Why do I ignore the blatant facts of my life and pretend it's all going the way I want it to when I'm not sure what the fuck I'm doing.

Oh! and why can't I understand string theory. It looks so interesting and I can't understand a bloody word of it.

Because we like to convince ourselves that we're in control
and it will not all end in tears or go pear-shaped. Sympathy click!

I think
You are being more than a tad harsh on yourself here, honey. We all behave like twats some of the time and we all make wrong choices. I don't understand the string theory either - I'd guess not too many people do. Will the world grind to a halt if we don't get it?
Shit, I promised the dog I'd get her out for a long walk this morning - best I feck off with her now....

Bye!

String theory
As I understand it, because I can't get my head round the more advanced precepts either, is that fundamentally, everything is made of energy, which just vibrates at different levels. Say for example an iron atom vibrates on a different frequency to say, a gold atom.

I'm currently imagining
Tourette's dog humphing around the living room thinking "fucks sake. She promised we would go out for a walk this afternoon, why would she promise that if she was only going to forget. It's 'cause just a dog. I bet if I was a dalek DG would take me out for walks when he promised. I wonder how you become a Dalek, I bet it's easy. Ooooooh, my bum smells interesting, better have a good sniff and a scratch. Whats that over there? Oh, fluff, haven't seen fluff like that before, how did that get there. I saw a piece of fluff the other day, must have been twice as big as that. I wonder where it went. YAY! WALKIES! Woofwoofwoof woooooooof wofofofofofofof WOOF WOOF"

At least that's what I would do if I was a dog.

Like sound waves
Like how a flute sounds different from say a recorder, for example.

Hmmmm!
I thought it was to do with these things smaller than atoms etc and that we were all made of them and at a molecular level we were all joined together seamlessly.

Isn't it
how Sam Beckett travels through time in a series of, oh I don't know, almost quantum leaps? Hoping each time that the next leap will be the leap home?

I don't know what's happened, but I hope you're ok *hugs*
