Remote control helicopters
My brother's girlfriend bought him a pair one christmas. Great fun battling each other but the most fun is to be had trying to land one on the cat. Yes I'm 38.

My dad's 48 and he fucking loves them!
He really wants a proper petrol r/c helicopter but they're too expensive to just mess about with at end up crashing, which is inevitable

Saw one of these in a shop in Camden
Was only about twenty quid. Yanked my girlfriend's arm and very gently hinted: "GET ME ONE OF THOSE FOR XMAS! GO ON! GO ON!"

My father-in-law is in his 70s
Two years ago his wife gave him a mini RC helicopter. Midnight on Christmas Day I was up a ladder on the garage roof trying to get the helicopter down for him, patiently explaining it was for indoor use only.
