This is a question Money-saving tips

I'm broke, you're broke, we're all broke. Even the smug guy on the balcony with the croissant hasn't got two AmEx gold cards to rub together these days. Tell everybody your schemes to save cash.

Cycling on the Cheap
Right you fat lazy internet slobbers get out of your cars and off public transport, get yourself fit and wealthier with a bike. Christ knows how much it costs to drive to work or get public transport but it will be cheaper on a bike. Most good companies do a cycle to work scheme, get involved! Even if you don’t like the cycling sell the bike and raise some cash instantly that will get taken out of your wages. The price of decent bike componentry is rising all the time due to the strength of the yen against the pound. Therefore, if you get a £1000 bike and look after it the chances are you’ll get £800+ for it in a year. I actually made a profit one bike after 8 months of ownership. Some dodgy bike shops will buy the bike back off you right away so you can raise some cash. I love my bike even in the shite weather. I save loads of money but chew through tons of calories, but then again I can eat what the fuck I like without fear of becoming a lardarse.

Much love

1000 pounds fer a bike!!!!
I'd been using a $25 garage sale jobby for 4 years. A couple of weeks ago I lashed out and bought a flash $250 dollar one, it's about half the weight of the old one, now I get less exercise.

Couldn't agree more
Was taking the bus to work at the cost of £29.25 a week so roughly £120 a month. Got a £600 bike on the cycle scheme. They take the money before tax so in real terms it cost me £30 a month for a year £600 bike for £360. I could sell it for more than that tomorrow. I ride it 23 miles a day rain or shine. I've probably spent about £150 on tyres and parts over the last 16 months but I'm still hundreds of pounds better off, can eat and drink what I like, don't need the gym membership anymore and have never been so fit.

The only down side to this is that most people who cycle to work are smug cunts.
So it's swings and roundabouts really.

I moved closer to work so I could bike it.
Saves me a fortune on fuel and car parts. Like a couple of years ago, the turbo blew on my car. I had to get it fixed there and then and then hire a car just so I could get to work.
The joys are now is that I only use my car for luxury, personal stuff. So my mileage is well lower. I cycle to work on a £200 bike that has required nothing spending on it since I got it.

I'm actually faster than traffic, as rush hour is just grid locked. Saving a heap of money, and keeping fit in the process.

Also possibly a mistake
assuming that the "fat, lazy internet slobbers" actually have "work" to go to.
