There was a girl, a friend of mine, who slept with our high school chemistry teacher
She was 16, he was in his late 30s, and married. One night, while we were underage drinking, she confessed to me what she'd done and that she was blackmailing him. She seemed to hold him in contempt. Anyway, despite her asking me not to tell anyone I told a mate and soon most of the school, including some of the faculty, knew what the score was. His wife never found out, but it did seem to curtail his penchant for sleazing onto his students, at least in the short term. In terms of secrets, my advice is simply "if you want something to be a secret, don't tell anyone"
