This is a question Sexism

Freddie Woo tells us: Despite being a well rounded modern man I think women are best off getting married and having a few kids else they'll be absolutely miserable come middle age.

What views do you have that are probably sexist that you believe are true?

That women don't make good choices of partner...
I know many a lovely, intelligent lady who is partnered - by her own choice - with a complete tosspot of a man.

Women seem to have some sort of inherent attraction to bastards.

I offer some supporting evidence:

- The amount of women who seem to like 'Bad Lads'. To what extent does this run? If I come round your house and shit on your carpet, then punch your mum, will you go out with me?
- The enduring popularity of literature where moody, selfish, rude gits are objects of romance; 'Wuthering Heights', 'Pride and Prejudice', bloody 'Twilight' (he's a vampire, for fuck's sake, he's not boyfriend material however nice his hair is...)
- Cristiano Ronaldo as a sex object. Cristiano-bloody-Ronaldo. A more arrogant, preening prick of a man you would struggle to find.

As you may have guessed, I am single....

We're not all like that....
I like it when men are nice to me.
Can't understand the attraction of Pride and Prejudice et al.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a horrid, greasy, orange freak.

Maybe the balance is......
all the nice blokes out there who seem unable to tear themselves away from the evil witches they've married/set-up with?

Most grow out of it though
and by their second or third marriages have settled for a duller, more reliable type.

You forgot to mention specifically that you are a 'nice guy'.

Is it worth mentioning
that I'm also a nice guy and single?

I'm not into bad lads and don't know any women who are. I really don't know where that stereotype came from. I know more nice guys with useless girlfriends.

I feel your pain
Mind you, I guess I helped balance things out by being married to a complete witch of a woman who treated me like shit on her shoe. Thankfully I'm shot of her now, so here's hoping that this year I find an absolute diamond who re-affirms my faith in women...fingers crossed!

*click* for your pain.

too bloody true
I cannot emphasise enough to my daughters that there's no such thing as a "rough diamond". If something looks and smells like a turd, it probably is a turd. I just hope they're listening to silly old dad.
