This is a question Social Networking Gaffes

Freddy Woo writes, "My school bully just friended me on Facebook!" No doubt he pokes him, and then demands his lunch money.

Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

What's the biggest mistake you've made using a social networking site?

Hull first time around
Then Brum medical school, then Brum philosophy department.

Little wonder I'm embittered...

Actually, I liked Hull. And it has very good philosophy and politics departments, which is where I was.

I passed the Oxford exam easily. It was the interview that I fucked up massively.

Getting to med school is an achievement in itself
although I dont think I would want to be a doctor now. Too much stress.

I'm not a medical doctor.
My masters was in Medical Ethics.

And, according to which etiquette books you read, I'm not entitled to call myself "doctor" anyway. For that, you need an honorary doctorate, such as that which medics get.

Go easy on yourself
the only job I'd ever get at Oxford (or any other University) would start with a "J" and end with "anitor".

*shifts chip on shoulder to more comfortable position*
