This is a question Social Networking Gaffes

Freddy Woo writes, "My school bully just friended me on Facebook!" No doubt he pokes him, and then demands his lunch money.

Personally, last month a scantily clad young woman confused me with her fiance, with whom I share a first and last name. I'm still not sure she's noticed, but she's going to be mortified when she does.

What's the biggest mistake you've made using a social networking site?

The HR Manager
Before the days of facebook, and many moons ago. I was working for a company. We had a very stern but also sexy as hell Milf as a HR manager, she was the object of everyones sexual fantasies.

One of us happened to just find her Faceparty profile. Which had a link to a swingers website with naked pictures of her and her husband on it :)

We decided to be very sensible about things and not tell anyone.

The last bit is a lie

This didn't happen.
Stick to writing letters to Razzle.

I promise you 100% it did.
If I could ever find the link again I'd send it you.

I take it all back.
I'm convinced NOW.

Share the wealth then
We all need to "research" this.

Theres nothing I can say that will make you believe me.
Even if I sent the link (will have to find it, this happened 3 years ago) you still wouldnt believe me as it could be anyone. I could tell you my grandfather is recovering from hospital after a series of mini strokes and would bet his life on it. But then you wont believe me there either.

True
but if you give us the link, atleast we will have got some low-brow titilation out of it.
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 12:18, closed)
It's bad form
to get low-brow titilation from a sick elderly gentleman.

Link?

Don't be silly.

If you did tell everyone
then you're not big and clever, but in fact a bit of a swine.
(, Wed 17 Sep 2008, 11:26, closed)
We didnt really tell everyone..
We kept it to the I.T office only. The small bit saying that that bit was a lie was infact a white one.

So share the wealth!
Come now, send out the link! She was the one who published all that material, after all- she wants it to be seen.

Kate?
This happened at a company I worked out for a while! The lady in question (one of the directors) had all her emails from this site sent to her work computer!! Come on... she should have expected to be found out...
(Nothing moves faster through office gossip than this sort of information!)

Her name wasn't Kate was it? (Possible same office?_)

Same here
But with a manager in a large telecommunications company who appeared in readers wives.

One of the managers used to have a couple of the tech guys 'researching' for any further articles on her.
