I think it was precisely because it was Legless that he got banned.
This is by no means an attack ad hominem: it's all about status. While newbies and infrequent visitors might be permitted an occasional flounce (they will be flamed, but they won't be banned), such a regular and active member of the B3ta community as Legless is expected to contribute to setting the standard for acceptable behaviour on the forum, and basically not act like a little crybaby bitch.

You also have to bear in mind that the way he chose to register his protest showed a considerable lack of political nous, in that he started off his post as a personal vendetta before openly criticising the moderators. There are few better ways of getting yourself banned from any internet forum.

Edit: Dr. Shambolic is a cunt and is now on my ignore list. Legless, I still think you fecked up by posting what you posted, but I've just fecked up as well so...human nature, or something.
