Xavier the Happy Bear says: Tales of when it all kicked off. A combination of Xmas, old family woes and a metric fuckton of alcohol lit the fuse for my family recently. What caused shit to 'go down' for you and what was the damage?

My fault, no argument, but there was no damage to my car and a slight mark on the passenger door of the other car.
When I last checked the driver and passengers of the other car had been "injured" to the tune of £15k.
I live in Bradford...

I once had a small bump, got out to have a look at the damage and found none at all on the other vehicle, the other driver didn't ask for any contact information so we just went our separate ways.
Owner of other vehicle later claimed the bumper was badly dented and the accident had occurred miles from anywhere I'd been on that journey. I'm not sure why they bothered to take down the numberplate and then try to claim for a DVLA search rather than just asked when I spoke to them. Cunt. Always take photos, especially if there is nothing to see.

... is that it's one of the places where the following joke is used:
"Minor collision between two cars today in [hellhole]. None of the 27 passengers hurt."
Mate had a minor collision there once, he and the lone occupant of the other vehicle walked round and surveyed the complete lack of apparent damage to either vehicle and went their separate ways. Two months later there's a claim for SIX people's whiplash being processed. >shrug<

... indicates that you have no experience of living anywhere near Bradford, Burnley or Bolton.
In an accident on a deserted country lane in the BD postcode which severely injured a friend of mine, and where the first people on the scene were the ambulance and police, the taxi driver miraculously found six witnesses after the event saying my friend had been travelling at excessive speed. He could also speak no English when the police arrived, having forgotten all the comforting English he spoke to my injured friend in the 15mins between the accident and the arrival of the emergency services.

So I don't think it's racist for me to assume that all white people are inherently dishonest

Same thing happened to a mate of mine, down the road in Keighley. Slight bump, hardly worth even getting insurance involved but the taxi driver that hit him (he was in the wrong) tried to sue for whiplash and loss of earnings. Also, when it came to a court case, the car had also mysteriously sustained a lot of damage, like it had been seen to with a sledgehammer...
