Managers should be over 25.
I've no problem being managed by someone younger than me (I'm in my mid 30's) but to be a manager you need to have several years of experience dealing with people. You also pick up a lot of knowledge as you age.

It really beats me why companies operate fast-tracking schemes for graduates.
The fact that someone has a few letters after their name is no guarantee they're manager material, and no amount of training can teach people skills or work experience. If anything, they'd be at a disadvantage because they spent the preceding 5-6 years sponging off the parents instead of experiencing the world of work first-hand.
