See, I don't understand how one can judge a person by where they come from.
A friend of mine is an American who lives in Germany. He is one of the most chilled-out, welcoming, lovely people one could possibly meet.

One evening in a pub, as the singer had got off stage, my friend ordered a beer. On hearing his accent, the singer started laying into my friend, "Rar rar rar you fucking Americans are cunts rar rar rar rar rar", despite the fact he'd been up on stage singing ... Bob Dylan songs.

My friend took this, initially, and ended up fantasizing about reaching for the lemon-slicing knife on the bar and shanking this fucker (which if you knew him, would shock you as he's so chilled out). When my friend responded "What the fuck are you - some kind of Nazi or something?!" he was treated to a histrionic fit of whining about being victimised.

It's fucking bollocks and yes something I rally against. EVERY fucker is going to be insufferable this year, because everyone's an absolute CUNT, but it's not because they're American, or black, or conservative - it's because they're cunts. Americans are no exception and this whole trendy, studenty, lefty bollocks is absolutely fucking abhorrent.

I have a friend in New York
I met this guy 30 years ago, he worked on a US Aircraft Carrier, USS Forrestal, which was parked off the beach at Benidorm. We lost touch but then I found him a couple of years ago through the power of teh interwebs. He was, and still is, one of the nicest, most chilled out people I've ever met (and a fucking awesome drummer).

Some Americans are cunts, but not all cunts are American. Same goes for everyone else.
