Radical reform is needed, and it will never happen. Nick Clegg should tell Mr Poshpants to fuck off, and try and reclaim what little dignity the LibDems might have.
To quote that tome of iffyness:

It's always struck me that a two party system is not really that much more democratic than a one party system. Not that AV would fix that, but it would be a step in the right direction. STV, as used in some place like Scotland local elections is a step better.
Ideally, parliament should represent the diversity of society, not just two and a bit caricatures of view points...
