It doesn't work and it makes you look like a tit. Just use the microwave instead.

Its quicker to use the microwave
get a big microwavable bowl, fill with pasta of choice, add a pinch of salt and pepper, cling film over it, heat for 8-10 mins depending on catergory, drain and serve as desired
