When looking at mattresses in a storemake sure there is a bed or another mattress under them and not concrete and a gap in the middle like the two I jumped on earlier.

I too have had a relevant experience..."Dude, we found this air mattress in a skip, want to jump on it and pop it?" says a friend.
Let's just say that it was two single, as opposed to one double, air mattresses. With a very loose-fitting sheet on top.
