i take it youve never boiled an egg?becuase the water usually smells of it afterwards

OUTDOORS MANI actually do this (albeit with coffee) whenever I go camping in the wilds. The slightly calcium taste is masked by the strong coffee, and as the water is usually from a stream it would taste of chlorine tablets anyway. Saves 5 minutes.
