Once you have put the amount which was needed (E.g. 15p for the Donut) into the machine, it would then automatically cash off?
So if the donut is 15p, if you put a 20p coin in, the machine would then cash off giving you a receipt and 5p chance?

You have to shouvel your change PDQ into the machine as it takes a few seconds to count it up. So you can over-pay it and it will usually give back any change in propper coins.
Or you could buy something more expensive than a 15p doughnut. Like a cake. Everybody likes cake.
