Enough ghosts....
....why does my wife have to get PMS? Answers? Anyone?
(, Thu 10 Jul 2008, 2:56, 17 replies)
Because she's a woman, and it's her body's way of saying it's working.
It's perfectly explained in most female health textbooks.

.
she's probably doing it to spite you

A girl I knew once told me why she got PMS
'I JUST FUCKING DO, RIGHT?"

So that was that.

Don't know why..
... but I know who's fault it is....

Blame it on her parents
But only if her mum is past menopause

My Missus
Told me yesterday that she wants a divorce. She was raving mad. I almost gave in and told her I'd go, but then she said that trolling for vampires just makes her hungry. I took her out for dinner, and everything is okay now.
Who is this beast that rises every full moon? Can I legally give her sedatives and keep her coma-toast for a week or so?

My missus
She has PMS for 3 weeks of the month.

It's mother natures way....
If she has to suffer then so should you.
(, Thu 10 Jul 2008, 10:21, closed)
Because
you touch yourself at night.

@w414q101
You don't want to give her too much coma-toast, or she might end up brown bread.

PMS - actually stands for
Poltergeist Manifestation Syndrome

still only affects females though

bugger, ...
Was just about to suggest 'pre-menstrual spectres'....
(, Thu 10 Jul 2008, 11:30, closed)
Because
she deserves it.

Because sometimes
we just have had enough of being fucking sweet and nice.
Sometimes we're so fucking pissed off with cunting life that everyone gets it in the bastard fucking neck from us.

So deal with it.

And breathe.....

I would apologise for taking it out on you but I'm fucking pissed off at the moment. And my fucking period has just finished, so it's not fucking PMS I'm just fucking angry.

sorry...normal behaviour will be resumed very soon.

Oh, buy her family sized bars of chocolate - fruit and nut works for me.

If a man does that
he's labeled as an abusive asshole. If a woman does that she can blame it on hormones and not be penalized.

I dislike double standards. I figure that if I can keep my composure 99% of the time, others should be capable as well. I suspect that others are perfectly capable of doing so, but choose not to. I have very little patience with those who choose to be snappish, as it makes life unpleasant for everyone around them.

But maybe that's just me being entirely too logical and reasonable again...

I honestly don't think it comes down to hormones or being abusive arseholes
Some people - men and women - find it acceptable to lose their temper, smash something, shout at someone and generally let off steam regardless of who or what is around them.
Generally that type of personality ends up hurting themselves in some way - high blood pressure, criminal record, etc. etc.

Some other people keep it all simmering and end up full of resentment, never deal with their anger and end up...hurting themselves with high blood pressure, anxiety, etc. etc.

I'm inclined to think that as a society we don't deal with anger too well and look upon it as some sort of abnormal behaviour. It's not, it's just normal human behaviour...and providing it's expended in a reasonably healthy way - don't ask me what they are, it depends what's legal and less likely to hurt innocents - then there is no harm done.

There is however, far, far too much blame placed by some people, upon women with PMS - sometimes women, just like men, get angry.

And equally there are women out there who use PMS as an excuse for being angry.

Anger is normal for both sexes.

Women aren't all sweetness and light all the time.

Equally as TRL says being an abusive arsehole is being an abusive arsehole, regardless of sex.

Me...I get pissed off, rant for a few minutes and then it's all over - far too bloody sensible to be mad and wild. The only way I know I'm feeling premenstrual is that I crave chocolate and crusty bread - carbs.

If I'm pissed off, I'm pissed off and it's not my hormones.

The best thing about being male
is the instant stress relief valve twixt the legs. It must be rubbish for ladies not having one.
