Nicolas Cage
For being an annoying, prick-faced twatmonkey who spoils films that had (repeat, HAD) the potential to be at least sort of good. And he's been in waaaaaay too many lately.
I wanted to watch Kick-Ass until I heard he was in it.
His face annoys me to no end, for some reason.

He's a horse-face, balding cunt.
Who the fuck decided he was 'action hero' material?
His relatives, the Coppolas, perhaps?

He's in con air, best movie ever made. Kick ass is actualy great, cage is some how good in it. Also, watch his version of the wickerman, it's the funniest movie umibve ever seen.

Kick-Ass is fucking superb
Don't let his being in it put you off.

He and Kevin Costner
Hollywood's two anti-actors. Kick-Ass somehow manages to be a good film despite Cage's presence, probably because he was told to tone down the equine scenery-chewing to the point where you barely noticed him. Red Rock West is also good, but might have been a rival to Miller's Crossing if it had starred somebody else.
Don't get me started on Kevin Costner. Read the script for Bull Durham online, and in spite of not giving a monkey's toss about baseball decided it was probably a pretty good flick. Watched Costner's performance, in which he delivered the first key speech of the film as if reading off the ingredients on a cereal packet, and was sore dismayed.

Don't worry
He burns to death in Kick-ass. Just like in Wickerman, and most other films he is in. So, I guess that part is really gratifying. And he's not a main character, Hit Girl is. I still suggest the film.

Couldn't agree more,
The Rock and Face Off were good in spite of him, not because of him.

Raising Arizona was probably his best film/
If he's able to make fun of himself or at least do something funny he's pretty good, at least in my opinion. Other than that I'm no big fan.
What I did find interesting was Roger Ebert's (fat critic) point of view, that's he's one of the few actors to really throw himself into roles. To bad or good results though I dunno. I found myself looking at him in some posters though and I think he probably believes he believes he's the role.
