The St Winifred's School Choir......For reminding us that no matter how well musically gifted, or how (if you're lucky enough to record a number one single) well the final output is produced and tweaked in a studio, there is nothing more criminal to the ears throughout history than the sound of young children singing.
Choirs I have no problem with, but the sound of singing at school nativity plays etc. is enough to make mice throw themselves on traps.

That's the "There's noone quite like grandad" or something like that innit?I agree though. I detest children's choirs, Westminster Boy's Choir and the like excluded though.
I once heard children singing "Danny Boy" at Last Night of the Proms and it make me want to stab my ears.
