This is a question Worst Band Ever

If I was in charge of the B3ta fatwa department, we wouldn't be hearing too much from Simply Red in the future. Who's on your musical shit list and why?

I saw "Chicks on Speed" once at Hyde Park
They were supporting Red Hot Chilli Peppers and James Brown.

To set the scene it was a hot as fuck day, they were on 2 hours late and people were generally sick of waiting.

Also it was EXPENSIVE for a ticket. Then this mish mosh of crap came on.

Their slogan? "WE DONT PLAY GUITARS" yes congrats... but erm...

It was like someone entered a freestyle art contest and wasnt quite upto the standard of Red Hot Chilli Peppers or JAMES FREAKING BROWN

Anyway heres a movie i took of them by the 2nd song. I still laugh to this day

I saw the same tour
But at Man Citys ground... they were fucking awful, so much so that the RCH singer antony cockwomble started to try and bollock the crowd for booing them...

That said James Brown rocked that night and the Chillis played all their new bland shit (as mentioned in a post above) and only a couple of the good tunes.

I too saw this abomination
Worst live act ever. The chilli's weren't all that either. A bit of a waste of £50 or whatever it cost.

I was there too
James Brown didn't really do anything, another male singer sang most of the songs, with JB chiming in every so often, and wandering round the stage with a cape on.

At some point, RHCP thanked Chicks on Speed for supporting them, and the entire crowd boo'ed, causing I think Flea to respond with a "fuck you all", or similar.

Best part of the entire afternoon, as RHCP weren't up to much.

The highlight of this gig for me
was some floppy haired opportunist drawing a giant cock in purple felt-pen on the exposed leg of a shorts wearing lightweight passed out on the floor by the toilet section before skipping off with gay abandon.

To be fair to Chicks on Speed, they are from Croydon I think. And no-one deserves that.
