My friend's just so embarrassed about it - and feeling guilty that so many other people's lives have been affected. Why do so many good women take on the guilt for nasty men's actions? It makes me sad :(

I know how true that is. I should have phrased it differently, you're right. I suppose in my own life it's mainly been the women who have tended to do the guilt thing afterwards. But you are right.
