maybe, how could i tell?
i've always been like this since a kid, nothing tickles my fancy

I don't suppose you really could tell.
Do you notice different flavours? Subtle flavours?
Are any of your other senses similar?
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:21, archived)
i think so, i eat a wide range of foods, but none float my boat
i'd rather have a spaceman's easy eat energy pack
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:24, archived)
Just eat protein shakes and soup
if you want really fast food
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:26, archived)
Is your family like it as well?

(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:27, archived)
nope, my family love their food
i'll just go without
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:28, archived)
You could have some kind of test
to see if it's to do with your mouth or with your brain or what.
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:32, archived)
i'll think i'll leave it, i've live long enough to worry not a jot about my food habits

(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:36, archived)
Unless it bothers you there's no reason to do anything,
but it would be interesting to investigate from a medical science perspective.
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:38, archived)
Of course he's bothered,
HE TOLD THE INTERNET!
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:40, archived)
people do find it strange, i have no fancy for a meal or whatever
i know somethings i won't eat because of taste, and i know some things i like the taste of, but it never excites me
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:41, archived)
When you're hungry
do you ever get hungry for a certain thing/flavour/food group, or do you just get the sensation of hunger on its own?
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:43, archived)
never for a flavour, just to mix up my diet
i like a curry sometimes, but if i don't get one i'm not at all fused by not bothering with it
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:49, archived)
Do you get hungry for a different type of food?
Like you'd be hungry for carbs or fat or protein rather than just hungry?
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:54, archived)
i think i do, sometime i feel i need to eat some meat or veg

(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:57, archived)
now hang on a minute,
this makes me think you've got an expectation of some kind of transcendent mystical experience.
Some food tastes nice, some food doesn't. I like eating food that tastes nice, because the taste is nice.
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:50, archived)
i like eating food that tastes nice, not being forced to eat shit
but the eating thing is not doing it for me, i'd rather not bother
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:55, archived)
Some people are just like that.
How's your sense of smell, is that good?
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:26, archived)
very good, ut no food smells make my mouth water
i can smell fresh coking and just think, oh food is ready soon, oh eating
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:28, archived)
If you've always been like this then I reckon your brain is simply wired a bit differently.
Do you enjoy all the other hedonistic things like sex, drugs, booze and music? If so, then I fail to see a problem.
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:32, archived)
get over excited by a schoolgirl before? or during those things? or just enjoy the moment?
blimey i'm confused now
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:36, archived)
pffft over excited by a schoolgirl?
my typos give me away

JAILBAIT
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:37, archived)
What on earth did you mean to type?

(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:47, archived)
like a school girl
honest
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:50, archived)
Pfft
Do you enjoy the anticipation? Or is it all about the actual act - you don't particularly look forward to it or fantasise about it?
(, Tue 26 Aug 2008, 21:57, archived)
I've got a friend like this. Big into sex and drugs and booze and that but food for her is just about refuelling.
She'd not be fussed if she ate gourmet delicious food or bland crap, it just doesn't do it for her.

Nowt to worry about for her, I just find it weird because I love food and good food and cooking and playing with ingredients and stuff.
