all that junk i posted below was to do with this:
hamsterfight.co.uk/colour/index.php

show me your favourite colours!
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:46, archived)
I like
the claret and blue
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:49, archived)
Are you a Villa supporter or something?

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:57, archived)
claret and blue is West Ham
and that's the only English football team colours I know - a friend of mine had those colours at her wedding. it's also the team Iron Maiden support
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:58, archived)
Also Villa,
and up the Irons!
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:01, archived)
*cough*
The mighty Burnley FC play in claret and Blue
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:02, archived)
As do Crystal Palace

or at least they did when I was a schoolboy and had some inkling of what was happening in football land.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:04, archived)
Only one English club in claret & amber!

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:07, archived)
and
they're being bradford, i believe
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:09, archived)
Bradford?

*soaps up*
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:10, archived)
Yep!
Don't have a full pic of me in the strip, but I do have a picture of an ex in it :p

Have this close up I took the other day.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:14, archived)
very, er, colourful
Weren't JCT600 prosecuted for 'modifying' the displayed mileages of the cars they sold and few years ago?

Anyway...

by the way, sorry if I were being a cock last night, I was a little inebriated :|
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:20, archived)
As was I
and I am too if I was.

Does that make sense?
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:25, archived)
bless
*pats Druid on head*
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:10, archived)
CP
is bright red and blue. and trying to get to work is a major pain in the arse when they're playing at home.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:09, archived)

play lose
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:09, archived)
done.
nice :D
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:50, archived)
pipped to the post i was

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:01, archived)
hurrah, I got a random sickly green

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:50, archived)
I am not sure that is working on my browser
should it show me lots of colours?
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:51, archived)
I don't know why
but after I post a colour the only way to view them is to close the window and click the link again
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:52, archived)
same

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:57, archived)
hmm
i hadn't tested on IE - should now work a bit more smoothly.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:57, archived)
but I'm on firefox
:)

edit/much better now
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:57, archived)
much better now :)
did you make the squares bigger too?
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:00, archived)
no
you moved closer to the screen
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:02, archived)
I can't do that
if I do my brain will try to escape through my forehead. I'm off to make dinner now anyway, back later on if I'm feeling up to it.

my tonsils, not a pretty sight
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:04, archived)
urghhhh
did you have to?
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:05, archived)
yup
and now hopefully i've improved the spacing, and line-wrapping
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:03, archived)
I see coloured squares now
but hovering my mouse or doing anything with the cursor has no reaction from my browser.

Perhaps I am being thick. I am using Safari which is the Apple version of Firefox and is normally more stable than ie or firefox.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:07, archived)
ah
for the mouseover i'm using title attributes, which works here on FF and IE - but i can't vouch for safari, or much else for that matter.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:13, archived)
done
:)
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:52, archived)
ahhh cyan :)
best of all the early '80s computer colours
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:53, archived)
he he
my first site was that colour background
bloody gross looking thing
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:56, archived)
coo
I made mine up - I like it though :D
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:53, archived)
you did the same as me,
I just pressed a few buttons
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:54, archived)
quite a fleshy colour you ended up with

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:55, archived)
stop it!
:).........mmmmmmm, flesh
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:57, archived)

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:01, archived)
ha ha ha ha ha

(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:03, archived)
cheers for teh choons
sir
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:10, archived)
i just typed in a
few numbers into the box...
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:59, archived)
The blue I chose
doesn't look nearly as spiffy on a grey background as it did on white.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 17:56, archived)
i realise that this is a problem
along with displaying all these colours alongside each other.
i thought a light grey would provide adequate contrast for most colours.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:00, archived)
done
but what's this for or is it cos you can
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:01, archived)
boredom
mostly
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:04, archived)
thats's why
i'm on here. and i'm meant to be tidying up my room
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:05, archived)
i notice that comma and doug have the same favourite colour
it would be more sensible to show both their names on one square, wouldn't it?
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:05, archived)
i've now changed the duplicate checking
to just colours, not name and colour.
(, Sun 3 Jul 2005, 18:07, archived)
