I woke up late and went to school.
Taught one lesson then found out there was nothing left to do.
Then I went to the hospital to have a blood test because when I went to my GP for it they made seven holes across both arms but couldn't get any blood out. Then at the hospital they made a few more holes but were unsuccessful so tried to get it out of the back of my hand, which they managed after about twenty minutes of trying. I cried throughout and made a right scene.
Then I went to Wilko's and bought cleaning things.
Then I came home and had lunch.

I'm well exciting.

Back of the hand is the best way. It'll be black for a bit though.

Having proper veins in the first place is the best way ;)

I'll never manage to pull a vampire.
This is upsetting, as having recently finished Twilight, it's something I'm quite keen on.

I feel like quite a dirty woman for thinking that boy's quite attractive.

I've nto seen the film.
I fancy the fictional book character though. In much the same way I fancy Harry Potter, Mr. Darcy and the character played by the bloke that played Denny Duquette in Grey's Anatomy in P.S. I Love You but don't fancy any of their film/TV representations.

I'd not say no, put it that way.

I haven't taken the enormous cotton wool ball and medi tape contraption off yet.
I'm working my way up to being brave enough.

Ah, there's no rush.
Have a bath and it'll come off on it's own without the pain.

I had a cannula in once,
and the vein completely disappeared afterwards.

Once bitten and all that.

I want my vein back :(
I don't know what they're going to do if they ever have to put one in again.
(, Tue 9 Jun 2009, 12:58, archived)
I'll lend you one.

The last time I had a cannula
they put in about half a litre of antihistamine and steroids in one go. That looked interesting in a "giant swollen vein" way.

It's about as exciting as my day.
I have come to work, progressed some MSc students, paid some of my court fine, and am now planning LUNCH.

This afternoon's going to be EVEN BETTER.
I'm going to clean the oven then put on an old swimming cossie and scrub the bathroom.
Then SAUSAGES for tea.
