I am blogging from Málaga, where I am on a 48-hour visit to support the brilliant local Conservatives Abroad, chaired by John Leith of Mijas. We want to encourage Brits to register in advance of June's European election. Spain, bizarrely, conducts its election to the European Parliament as one large constituency. This means that 300,000 votes guarantee a candidate's election. There are, as I say, perhaps 800,000 British voters here, all entitled to vote as EU citizens. But the giant continues to slumber.
