despite the people-hating dailymailites constantly inventing imaginary enemies within
we are generally pretty cool as a nation

We're not bad, I'd have to agree.
Although speaking of 'enemies within' I have a positively tabloidian attitude regarding that cunt with the hook. He is a nasty fucking piece of work and no mistake.

I don't think I've seen any interviews with people on the beeb,
their presenters seem to inflate to take up the entire screen

Or, at least, my cock is.

Yes and I hope there won't be later. I hope equally as much that there isn't hysterical patriotism
and flag flying like in America in 2001.

TURNCOAT!
If you don't own a Union jack and a bulldog, you're clearly one of them

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when they started missing
the point in an attempt to appear patriotic. Listening to Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revivial because it mentions the stars and stripes but not noticing it is an anti-establishment song about Vietnam was the height of stupidity.

Like Reagan using Springsteen's 'Born In The USA'in his re-election campaign,
unaware of its unpatriotic lyrics.

Only moaning about how it will make their journey home longer:)
I support this attitude:)

I'm off to New Street in what little lunchtime I have left to see if the trains will be ok for tonight.

They....
...had to find an American tourist to interview just to make it sound like something was actually happening.

My personal fave
are the police interviews; "We can't confirm or deny anything at all, but something may or may not have happened. Possibly."

That
or it could be that by not showing such things it doesnt effect people the same way as seeing the mentally exhausted poor sods caught up in it who are crying.
