ok, at the moment i have quite a few 'leads' that i plan to follow up (really casual first dates, just meeting up and getting to know each other). my question is, whats the correct way to do this - should i prioritise and only move down the list if the first date proves to be a dead end, or is it OK these days to have more than one's iron in more than one fire, so to speak?

Obviously if things got more serious you'd need to choose.

if i really like someone, i wouldn't cheat on her, but there's a risk of this difficult inbetween moment where you're shagging lots of girls.

tell them that whoever wins gets to take you out on a date. but this will just be a cover story. when one of them tells you to fuck off, that she's not some number which can be digested with metrics and prioritisation, her; when you find her, you will know she is the one
but by this point, you'll have blown it. hahaha sucks to be you
