I went out for a wander and saw a man wearing one and peering into a motorbike shop. I would have laughed out loud but I didn't, because the dude's wearing a cape, he's probably a psycho.

They used to wear them back in the days when Nurses were almost exclusively female.
Angels (an old medical drama from the early 80s) had a few nurses in capes.
