I'm going to a video game convention/expo* on Saturday.
This is the first time I've gone to this type of thing.

What should I expect to see at a gaming convention (apart from games)?
Maybe I can do like a birdwatching style checklist with points for things spotted.

Hot advertising models being drooled over by geeks in costumes.

Ah yes, booth babes.
And geeks dressed up may be a given. Full blown cosplay is pretty common I think. Perhaps more points depending on the level of rarity/obscurity:

A fuck load of people who are over 40
still living with their mothers, they never wash and so have lank greasy hair and a mixture of BO, stale semen and that weird butter/sour milk smell about them.
