OK, well a standard dose of MDMA is about 100 mg. As I said, I'm not sure you can fit that on a blotter, even a large one,
and I dunno what advantage that would have over just pressing it into a pill as normal, or selling it as loose crystals. The fact that they were incredibly strong suggests that, if it was MDMA, it was a good deal more than 100 mg, which makes it even less likely.

So I'd suggest that maybe a dealer who wasn't quite as well connected with the big boys at the top of the supply chain as he'd like to be, and couldn't get actual MDMA, had got hold of some research chems off the dark web and put them on blotters (which would make sense, as a lot of those compounds are active at doses of a few mg), but had decided to sell them as "MDMA" since RC's have got a bit of a bad rep due to people accidentally taking far too much and having horrible trips lasting 24+ hours or even, in a couple of cases, carking it.

Sure, but RC's have been around since forever. I mean MDMA itself was an RC once.
They sound great, though. I once had some pills that I'm fairly sure had MDA in. Both trippier and speedier than MDMA - mad open-eye visuals and proper massive body rush. Fuck, they were good. Never come across it since.
