I genuinely feel sorry for Tony Blair. All the good things that took place under him as PM, a genuine sense of public duty, and he's vilified (rightly or wrongly) because of the mistakes made in the Middle East. If that hadn't happened, the 1997 Labour government would rightly be hailed as the best in living memory.
