Day 9 of rough sleeping.Did a few days in Cambridge at the beginning of last week, church grounds on the high road were bastard noisy.
Back in Kings Cross now. Found a corner away from the drunks and smackheads, and drunk smackheads.
Given I go to the day centre, have a shower, do laundry, and get something to eat, I'm not sure I'm cut out for homelessness. And sleeping on concrete is really bad for your back. Who knew?

Blimey, Muzletov ! I’m good, just going through a Melenual Life Crisis, but really positive I can get things going. Likely will be retaining in something to do with mental health; don’t know exactly, nothing overly academic, maybe an apprenticeship in the upcoming Feb term if I can.

Yup, I want to transfer those skills elsewhere though. Had a run of some really awful bosses (Tech Bros and all that; racist/sexist bastards, they ended up in courts) for a few years, then covid hit, and I realised I still love coding but don’t want it as a career anymore… so whilst the CV has these gaps, it’s the perfect time to move on.

Lockdown was a buggerI left medical practice for a few years, bought a pub and was enjoying it but Covid hit and the hospitality industry died. Shame but Wetherspoons gave me a good price, but I loathe the chain.

That’s pretty impressive, fuck Brexit aye. I’d love to start a canna pub for patients to learn all the different devices, strains, clinics, and general socialising. They’re a few in the uk but no legal ones by me (I don’t think I’m London). I must have wasted £1000s learning how to consume properly. Wouldn’t do it for the money, but the ROI should be good by picking up commissions.
