Blue jays going mental in the trees just outside the deck, same thing a few days ago then a screech owl flew out of one of the trees, never seen one before
no sign of it today though
we knew there was a owl very close by because we've been hearing it for years, they nest in abandoned squirrels' drays, there are lots in the trees here
