I'm having some sausages I got off the butcher at work,
But to stay true to my working class roots I'm pairing them with some oven cooked potato smileys and a mixed salad

SALAD?
Working class people don't have salad mate.
(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 18:45, archived)
I didn't say I was going to eat it.
It's just going to be on the plate like at a wetherspoons. Nobody ever eats the salad.

Wetherspoons?
How awful.

I'd rather be in a spoons than pay 7 quid a pint at the sort of pub a posh cunt like you drinks in
I bet you've got the sort of mates that "split the G"

I got bumraped for £7.75 for an Asahi in Paddington Station a couple of weeks ago
what a world

My brother is living in Woolwich.
Now the old gun pit is closed there is literally nowhere to get a pint under 6 quid apart from the great harry
(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 18:54, archived)
I'm not too far from there but it's not an area I know at all tbh
I know there's a super highly rated Nepalese restaurant there, that's pretty much it

It's all either proper old school London grim or modern hipster gentrification grim
No middle ground at all. But my brother is a proper craft beer and 50 quid hair cut cunt so he loves it.

He's not more than a bus away to better pubs tho. Woolwich is completely different from when I was a kid getting my McDonald's there. 1st one in England

Still got a wimpy though.

(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 19:19, archived)
Certainly has, and a 14 year old drill rapper was killed on the bus yesterday, still got 80s vibe

(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 19:24, archived)
Was drill around in the 80s?

(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 19:26, archived)
Drills have been around for thousands of years

Something about a bender in a bun.

(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 19:39, archived)
All the pubs here are fucking shit

(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 19:57, archived)
Bout time I made sausages again
It's been fucking ages, I want to make some spicy Italian fennel ones
(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 18:51, archived)
That sounds pretty beezer
I'm slowly building up a decent kitchen set up, already got all the coffee and pasta making shit, and a sous vide bath thing, maybe I should get a sausage maker
(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 18:54, archived)
The best piece of cooking kit I ever got was a smoker
Cold smoked salmon and bacon in winter, hot smoked ribs and shit in the summer. Nothing I like more than fannying about in the garden all day whilst drinking beer.

Good shout.
You bother with a proper pizza oven? I was looking at the ooni stuff
(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 18:57, archived)
I'd really like one but it would cause 'trouble at home' if I got one, I have so much stuff
My compromise is a 6mm thick baking steel which makes domestic oven pizzas a whole lot better
(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 19:09, archived)
I'll get one and then in the summer you can come here and make me pizza

(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 19:21, archived)
DONE

(, Wed 8 Jan 2025, 20:54, archived)
can confirm
i got a smoke rig bbq steel last year, possibly on your advice, game changer
