Obviously I'm in the minority, but I hate puns. Could you explain to me the humour in them? Intelligent word play in comedy I adore. But this obsession with puns I find odd.

I think if you don't like them, you don't like them, and nobody's going to be able to explain the appeal.
It's just wordplay, most of the time they're shit. I like the intentionally shit ones because it's like taking the piss out of how shit they are. Can totally get why they wouldn't be someone's thing though. Like faceswaps on /board, I don't understand the appeal unless there's an actual joke behind them (which there almost always isn't), but those cunts lap them up.
