Da Nang isn't great tbh. Hoi An is a short cab from Da Nang and is way better. It's beautiful. We did a day trip from there to Hue which is excellent. If you have time, strong recommend a trip from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay with an overnight stay on a boat. It's probably the most touristy thing in the whole country but fuck me it's amazing, proper James Bond shit
