Morning
It’s cat hell here at Chez Garold. Aggie is furious and resentful and has hate and revenge in her eyes. Boston is sad and wants affection and zoomies. All a bit tense right now.

We've zoned the house and Aggie is at ease on the top two floors.
Boston is downstairs in a cage so she's tentatively coming and having a look to see if the fucker is still there in his big cage and that's when she gives us a hard time for that THING still being here. We let him out at night when she's in our room - this has worked out pretty well as she's not bothered and he gets used to the house and has a rood old run around.

The shelter where we got Boston did us a plan and it's going as expected. At times it's better, at others it feels worse, but we are making iddy biddy progress.

We've got a couple of those scent calming plug in things on the way but gonna hold off on them till the cats are both in the same space at the same time.

Have you tried instituting a demilitarized zone, enforced by a UN peacekeeping force if necessary?

First thing we did
we had the white helmets empting turds from litter trays on day one but it hasn't fostered a sense of calm and harmony in the house.
