it's been a constructive day already. Dropped the other half of at the hospital first thing so can have his gall bladder removed - they're doing it as keyhole surgery so hopefully it'll be a quick recovery but if they need to open him up the poor dab will be tender for a few weeks.

Just got a call from the hosptal- surgery went fine
he's coming round from the GE, doing fine and can come home later today when he's up to being collected.
