I have a day this weekend with nothing planned for once.I am torn between having a quiet, unplanned, day, maybe a ride and a mooch (as I almost never have these), or getting in touch with a friend I've not seen in a while and planning something.

I went on a cruise around the MedMy wife was seasick all the way around and I had dislocated my knee the evening of my wedding and went on crutches. I spent £400 on booze that trip as I had nothing to do except drink.

I think we still have them tooBecause they announced our marriage in one and got our names wrong. We got a free upgrade and free flowers and champagne too. We got loads of free bottles of Champs on honeymoon. We took them home and gave them away as presents on peoples birthdays as Champagne is rank. Why couldn't they have given me a decent single malt instead?

Alt: A combined work and holiday in the USA3 or 4 days of work near Pittsburgh, and the rest of teh time motoring around Pensylvania, Ohio and West Virgina.
I went to Gettysburg, Wright Patterson air base and museum, a bunch of indian archeological sites, including the Serpant Mound. I stayed in motels and slept in the car a couple of times.
I really want to go back and do it again in an RV.
And it was all paid for on expenses.
