Janis restaurant for certain - was the best by miles at the time, you might have to book a few days in advance, especially if you want a beachfront sunset table - the lobster is great!
If you have a villa then you probably have bbq equipment. Shops nearby will sell lamb with all the trimmings. The local wine is pretty good and sold in giant bottles!

The old town/harbour is fairly small but pretty. Lots of decent tavernas and not too many loud bars.

Seriously consider hiring a car and drive to Agni/Kalami (south of Kas), Paliokastritsa (West of Island), and there is the water park in the middle. There are also lots of lovely fishing villages around the top of the island and horse-riding is available too.

If you want to do a Greek night, then probably best to just get to a local one rather than the organised one in the middle of the island, as its quite far, especially with kids. Things might have changed in that time though.

Plenty of boat trips to be had. An evening trip by boat to Corfu Town is a must! Albania boat trip is a waste of time and money (so I've heard)

And of course if you want to have it large, get down to Ayia Napa! (which I've never done!)

I was there in 2002 (Michaelangelo apartments) and 2003 (private Villa) and my parents have recently returned from there. They said it hasn't changed that much since then, just a few more villa developments.

Brush up on your basic Greek conversational. Hello/Good Morning, Thank You/Please etc - they work well!
