After many attempts this afternoon I have discovered that Tim Brooke-Taylor is the hardest of The Goodies to draw.

i can see your point. I had the same problem with Orlando Bloom.

I just attempted to disprove him and it turned out to be a cross between Phenella out of Chorlton and the Wheelies and Chris deFucking Burgh.

I'm going through a spate of drawing people.
Yesterday I drew Jake La Motta (Raging Bull).

or as he looks now?
You are right though - he's quite ordinary whereas for Oddie all you need is a big beard, ears and glasses.

Garden has the glasses and sideburns.
The thing with Tim Brooke-Tayloe is that his face just doesn't suit long seventies hair.

Aparently they passed a new law on April 1st which means we can't move into our new house until an extra piece of paperwork is completed - the lawyers say this will only take a week.
However, the next tenant is due to move into our house in 6 days. Our landlord has (in an incredibly minor way) fucked up some confirming paperwork though, so we're within our legal rights to stay here and barricade the doors for another month. We just phoned the landlord to tell him that.
He's Not Very Happy with us. I am Quite Scared.

It'll sort out someway or t'other.
Its not your fault, let your lawyers speak to him.

can you get the lawyer to hurry up? Can you store your stuff oop North and crash at your folk's place for a bit?
edit - and if it's only 1 week-ish you might well be able to swing it with the landlord by being nice...

and he's a family friend and stuff so we can't rush him any more than that.
The trouble is, where the hell do we put the cats?
It will all be fine. It's just not very nice right now.
