# I'm obviously talking nonsense
those nice hackers wouldn't do anything naughty with the codes they got hold of, oh no, piracy and data theft were never the intention.

Computer hacker's are the scum of the earth; sad how a lot of it is seen as justified and clever in the name of geekdom for nothing more than geekdom's sake, even when shit like this happens

# this reminds me of Julian Assange being all butthurt about people finding out his private affairs and others publishing stuff on him.
similar happening to proper hackers seems unlikely due to their levels of expertise... in my inexpert opinion.

This is the company that silently installed rootkits on customers' PCs without their knowledge, simply when they played a music CD.
And when it was discovered that the rootkit was not only phoning home to Sony, but also leaving PCs wide open to malware attacks, their "removal" tool just proceeded to make things worse.

People worry about Google, Facebook etc. being big and evil. But Sony are big, evil and incompetent.

I just wonder how this will be resolved... if it ever gets resolved.
