you seem to be avoiding this "mistake" but in the event you're ever tempted to delete a thread, don't. there may be a "delete" link right there but you're never meant to use it. i think rob or someone was taking the piss, because if you use it you're guaranteed a massive flaming.

you can easily delete an "image" from a post, via EDIT and removing the code--but people get really irate if you delete the post itself
